Maddie and Will eloped in Santa Barbara, but still wanted a small celebration with family, friends, and their dog Beans upon their return home to Columbia, South Carolina. We watched the weather like a hawk leading up to their wedding dinner. Columbia is notorious for Summer afternoon thunderstorms, and it looked like rain was guaranteed on the forecast. We packed up our car with ten clear umbrellas as a backup plan for outdoor photos - we weren't going to miss out on the beautiful scenery at The Millstone at Adams Pond regardless of the weather! Luckily, things cleared up, and we ended up with a famously HOT South Carolina day. Maddie, Will, their friends, and family all powered through the heat like champs to get some absolutely beautiful photos - we think it was worth it!

The venue itself was BURSTING with color. Pink, purple, and blue garden florals hung from the ceiling and blooms lined the center of the dinner table. Every detail was meticulously thought out - it was absolutely stunning! We loved how they included a nod back to Will's proposal by ending the night with corndogs that had sticks inscribed with their wedding date. Will popped the question at Steel Hands Brewery in Cayce the same way since corndogs are Maddie's favorite - so cute!

We loved being a part of Maddie and Will's big day! We wish them many years of happiness!
